1. What is the LAM PCR?
Answer: LAM–PCR is short for linear - amplification mediated PCR. It is a technology which is used for identifying and characterizing unknown flanking DNA adjacent to known DNA of any origin. Recently, LAM-PCR has been developed to localize viral vector integration sites (IS) within the host genome.
2. What are the advantages of multiarm LAM PCR compared to standard single-arm LAM-PCR?
Answer：Firstly, multiarm LAM-PCR yields data at a higher rate than the individual arms, regardless of the sampling size. Secondly, multiarm LAM-PCR uses more than one restriction enzymes to digest the double strand DNA which decreases the detection bias resulting from the choice of restriction sites used to anchor the PCR. Thirdly, multiarm LAM PCR introduces an additional digest step which can eliminate the internal control band and a major source of noninformative clones in the junction library.
3. How long does it take to finish the full service?
