Introduction of mRNA Design and Synthesis

The design and synthesis of mRNA is an important part of mRNA production. The structure of mRNA can be divided into five components, including the 5'cap, the 5' and 3' untranscriptional region (UTR), the open reading frame for the gene of interest, and the poly(A) tail. Each component is crucial to the stability and quality of the final product. The mRNA design and synthesis process begin with codon optimization of the sequence for optimal transcription. The gene was synthesized, cloned into a vector, and validated by Sanger sequencing. The plasmid DNA was then amplified and linearized against the target mRNA sequence for subsequent in vitro transcription of the mRNA.
