Rice Endosperm-Specific Expression System

Creative Biogene has established a high-yield system for plant seeds-based, eukaryotic expression and purification of recombinant proteins that are free from human, animal, or microbial contaminants. We utilize rice endosperm-specific expression system to offer recombination proteins and polypeptides expression service. Rice seeds are an ideal production platform for molecular farming, as recombinant proteins can accumulate at high levels in the rice endosperm through established production systems. Rice seed bioreactors offer many advantages for producing recombinant proteins, including their stable accumulation in a small volume and the easy long-term storage of protein avoiding degradation at ambient temperature. These make the seed-based platform suitable for many recombinant proteins produced on a large scale. Up to now, rice endosperm cell-based expression system using RAmy3D promoter has applied in high-level expression of many pharmaceutical proteins, such as rAAT, hGM-CSF, interleukin-12, human serum albumin.
