Oncolytic Adenovirus Particles

Oncolytic virotherapy is a biological therapeutic approach to cancer treatment that deploys native or genetically modified oncolytic viruses (OVs) as therapeutic agents and transgenic delivery platforms that can selectively replicate within tumor cells, but not in normal cells. The replication of the viruses within the tumor cells eventually leads to the cell lysis and death, and the released virus can further infect other nearby cancer cells to continue the cycle of the tumor cell destruction. There are more than 20 OVs such as adenovirus, herpes virus, reovirus, vaccinia virus and new castle disease virus etc. Among these, adenovirus is one of the most commonly delivery platforms for the OVs immunotherapy.

Creative Biogene offers a panel of oncolytic adenoviruses (OAds) that can help researchers to investigate the safety and efficacy of OAds in the treatment of different types of cancer.
