The CBTM sample collection kit was developed and assembled specifically for harvesting, transporting, and briefly storing potentially contagious patient specimens containing total DNA/RNA such as whole blood, saliva, serum, body fluids, etc. Deactivating preservatives included in the kits function in preparing the samples for further investigations such as DNA extraction, PCR, and so on.

Storage
With packaging being intact, the kits can be stored at 15-30℃ for 24 months. After use, period of room-temperature storage is 1 week. For extended storage period, please store harvested specimen at -20℃ and below.
