RNA Editing Service
RNA is one of the most important messengers in cellular processes, characterization of its function and dynamic metabolism is crucial for understanding life processes. The use of the RNA-targeted CRISPR-Cas13 system will contribute to the understanding of the RNA's function and related research. At Creative Biogene, we specialize in offering top-notch and reliable RNA editing solutions to our esteemed clients. We have cutting-edge technology and a team of highly skilled specialists. Whether you are conducting basic research, drug development, or gene therapy, our RNA editing service is designed to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and specificity of your experiments.
Introduction of RNA Editing
The Class 2 Type VI systems with the single effector protein Cas13, are CRISPR-Cas system that exclusively target RNA, and are tools for efficient RNA editing with a promising application. Cas13 protein is an RNA-guided RNA endonuclease (RNase) with effectors for dual ribonuclease activity (including pre-crRNA processing and crRNA-mediated RNA cleavage), and has unique advantages in RNA-specific recognition, RNA cleavage, and trans-activating activity. Creative Biogene scientists use the CRISPR/Cas13 system for RNA editing purposes. By modifying the guide RNA sequence, the Cas13 protein can be directed to a specific RNA molecule of interest, enabling precise RNA manipulation. This opens up a whole new avenue for genetic research, as it allows researchers to selectively manipulate gene expression by activating or deactivating target genes.

RNA Editing Services at Creative Biogene
Creative Biogene RNA editing service based on the CRISPR/Cas13 system provides a range of specific services to our customers. These services include:
Targeted RNA editing
Creative Biogene provides one-stop CRISPR/Cas13 genome editing services according to customers' research needs, including crRNA design and synthesis, CRISPR/Cas13 vector construction and Cas13 mutant fusion protein construction. Our experienced experts can design crRNAs based on the customer's RNA sequence of interest and optimize and screen them to improve the stability of the crRNAs in the target cells for efficient site-specific RNA editing.
RNA base editing
We utilized a catalytically inactivated Cas13 protein (dCas13) fused to ADAR2 to develop an RNA base editor. Such as REPAIR (RNA editing for programmable A to I substitutions) and RESCUE (RNA editing for specific C to U exchanges) that can be used to introduce A-to-I or C-to-U RNA editing. Our efficient gene editors reduce off-target effects and enable precise, highly specific RNA base editing.
RNA modification
With our advanced CRISPR-Cas13 system, we offer detailed RNA modification analysis services. Our talented scientists can identify and characterize a variety of RNA modifications, including programmable regulation of alternative splicing, A-to-I and C-to-U editing, and m6A modifications.
