PFU Titering All purified adenovirus preparations are tested for infectious titer. Creative Biogene's PFU test takes a few days longer but counts true plaques in HEK cells rather than estimating PFU titers via IHC staining or TCI50 of infected cells.

Mutations in the RET gene are associated with a variety of diseases, including Hirschsprung disease (loss of function) and cancers such as medullary thyroid carcinoma (gain of function). Human RET adenoviral particles are genetically engineered viral vectors designed to efficiently deliver the RET gene or its variants to mammalian cells.
