Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab. 4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells. 5. The luciferase reporter gene cell line - 293T is a genetically engineered reporter gene cell model constructed from human embryonic kidney 293T cells. The 293T cell line is a derivative of the HEK293 cell line and is widely recognized for its rapid growth, high transfection efficiency, stable protein expression, and reliable performance in molecular and cell biology experiments. These cells express the SV40 large T antigen, which allows plasmids containing the SV40 origin of replication to undergo free replication and helps enhance the transient expression of the introduced gene construct.
