| Description | mMKOS stands for 4 mouse stem cell factors which are c-Myc-F2A-Klf4-T2A-Oct4-E2A-Sox2 ((BC006728 NM_010637 NM_013633 NM_011443). GFP-mMKOS adenovirus Type5 (dE1/E3) uses 2A "self-cleaving" peptides, which support efficient polycistronic expression from a single promoter to reduce the number of viruses necessary to reprogram somatic cells. GFP-mMKOS adenovirus Type5 (dE1/E3) also has a separate expression cassette to express eGFP. Mouse KOSM adenovirus can be used to generate induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell from mouse and human adult fibroblasts. |
