Description

CreEasyTaq DNA polymerase is purifed from E. coli expressing a cloned Thermus aquaticus DNA polymerase gene. The enzyme consists of a single polypeptide with a molecular weight of approximately 94 kDa. CreEasyTaq DNA polymerase has a 5' to 3' DNA polymerase activity and a 5'->3' exonuclease activity lacking a 3'->5' exonuclease activity. CreEasyTaq DNA polymerase provides acceptable results for routine amplification. The extention time is about 1-2 kb/min. Template-independent "A" can be generated at the 3' end.of the PCR product. PCR product can be cloned in TA cloning vector.
