Description The HIV-1 Activity Assay Kit provides a convenient and simple method for detecting the activity of recombinant and/or purified HIV-1 protease. The assay kit is based on the ability of active HIV-1 protease to cleave a synthetic peptide substrate to release the free fluorophore which can be easily quantified at Ex/Em = 330/450 nm using a fluorescence microplate reader.
