| Safety Considerations |
The following safety precautions should be observed. 1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum. 2. No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the stable line. 3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab. 4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells. 5. All waste should be considered hazardous. 6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach. |

A: The cell line was established by stably transfecting the human P2RX7 (P2X purinoceptor 7) gene into HEK293 cells.
A: This cell line can be used to study the role of P2RX7 in inflammatory responses and the activation of immune cells.
A: It can be used for screening drugs that affect P2RX7 activity, especially in the study of anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory drugs.
A: Since P2RX7 is closely related to cell apoptosis and survival, this cell line can be used to study the molecular mechanisms of these processes.
A: The P2RX7 receptor is closely associated with neuroinflammatory processes. This cell line can be used to study the role of P2RX7 in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, particularly in exploring disease mechanisms and potential drug targets.
A: Since P2RX7 is a crucial extracellular ATP receptor, this cell line is particularly suitable for studying how extracellular ATP signaling affects cell functions, including changes in intracellular calcium concentrations, cell apoptosis, and the regulation of inflammatory responses.
