Virus Particles Information

Cat. No. VNTR-12
Description CVS-N2c rabies virus strain-based retrograde non-synaptic tracer co-expressing mCherry and FlpO recombinase via a self-cleaving 2A peptide. The FlpO enables intersectional targeting in combination with Flp-dependent (FDIO/FLEX) reporters/effectors in presynaptic neurons, complementing existing Cre-based genetic access strategies.
Product Type Rabies virus
Reporter mCherry + FlpO recombinase (2A self-cleaving)
Synaptic Transmission Non-synaptic (single-cell labeling)
Applications
  1. Retrograde non-synaptic labeling of projection neurons combined with FlpO-mediated targeting
  2. Activation of Flp-dependent reporters, effectors, or calcium indicators in input neurons
  3. Intersectional circuit dissection when combined with Cre lines
  4. Long-term functional and morphological analysis.
