Virus Particles Information

Cat. No. RABVH-19
Description Cre-dependent AAV helper co-expressing nuclear-localized H2B-mCherry and TVA via T2A under EF1a. The nuclear red reporter resolves individual Cre-positive starter neurons with high contrast, while TVA permits their selective infection by EnvA-pseudotyped G-deleted rabies virus. With RVG complementation, direct presynaptic inputs are mapped in a Cre-dependent manner.
Product Type Adeno-associated virus
Reporter mCherry
Expression Mechanism Cre-dependent
Helper Function AAV helper expressing nuclear-localized mCherry and TVA under Cre-dependent control
Applications
  1. Co-injection with RV-EnvA-ΔG for Cre-dependent monosynaptic retrograde tracing with nuclear red starter labeling
  2. H2B fusion confines mCherry to nucleus for unambiguous starter cell identification
  3. T2A enables bicistronic expression
  4. DIO restricts expression to Cre+ populations
  5. Mapping direct presynaptic inputs to Cre-defined populations
Promoter Broad-spectrum Promoter
Size Custom
Storage Store at -80℃. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
