| Safety Considerations |
The following safety precautions should be observed. 1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum. 2. No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the stable line. 3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab. 4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells. 5. All waste should be considered hazardous. 6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach. |

A: GS-/- CHO cell line expressing Human IL6R has the advantages of high yield, good stability, and high comparability, meeting the drug regulatory requirements of global biopharmaceutical companies.
A: GS-/- CHO cell line has knocked out the glutamine synthetase (GS) gene. The transfected plasmid vector has the target gene and GS gene marker. When glutamine synthetase provides energy during ATP hydrolysis, it uses ammonia and glutamate in the cell to synthesize glutamine, providing nutrition for cell growth.
A: Yes.
A: It can be repeatedly frozen and thawed.
A: Compared to most cells, this cell line requires additional proline to grow.
