Cat. No. CSC-RG0019
Background Alpha-1-adrenergic receptors (alpha-1-ARs) are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. There are 3 alpha-1-AR subtypes: alpha-1A, -1B and -1D, all of which signal through the Gq/11 family of G-proteins. The alpha-adrenergic receptor (AR) subtypes (alpha(1a), alpha(1b), and alpha(1d)) mediate some physiological effects of epinephrine and norepinephrine. The alpha1-AR subtypes are expressed in several organs like brain or heart in which they modulate a diversity of functional effects such as modulation of neurotransmission, vasoconstriction, etc.

What is the role of the Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS in studying the impact of ADRA1B gene mutations on cellular function?

A: The Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS allows scientists to investigate how ADRA1B gene mutations affect cellular function. By comparing the expression and function of wild-type and mutant ADRA1B, researchers can better understand how these mutations lead to changes in cellular signal transduction, which is significant for the study of genetic cardiovascular diseases.

How is the Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS applied in studying the role of ADRA1B in stress responses?

A: The Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS can be used to study the role of ADRA1B in stress responses, particularly in dealing with environmental stressors and physiological challenges. This cell line helps scientists understand the molecular mechanisms of ADRA1B in regulating stress responses, which has potential value for developing treatment strategies for stress-related diseases.

How is the Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS applied in studying the role of ADRA1B in cardiovascular diseases?

A: The Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS provides an experimental model for studying the role of ADRA1B in cardiovascular diseases. Through this cell line, scientists can investigate how ADRA1B affects the function of the heart and blood vessels, which is crucial for understanding the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases and developing new treatment strategies.

How is the Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS applied in studying the role of ADRA1B in emotional regulation?

A: The Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS can be used to study the role of ADRA1B in emotional regulation, particularly in the limbic system of the brain. This cell line helps scientists explore how ADRA1B receptors influence emotional states, which is valuable for understanding the mechanisms of mood-related disorders such as depression and anxiety.

What is the role of the Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS in studying adrenergic receptor signaling?

A: The Human ADRA1B Stable Cell Line-U2OS, established by stably expressing the human α1B adrenergic receptor (ADRA1B) in U2OS cells, is crucial for studying how adrenergic receptors regulate intracellular signaling and physiological responses. It aids scientists in understanding the role of ADRA1B in the cardiovascular system, nervous system, and stress responses.
