Virus Particles Information

Cat. No. RABVH-45
Description Cre-dependent AAV helper co-expressing nuclear H2B-EGFP and the CVS-N2c glycoprotein (N2cG) via P2A under EF1a. Nuclear EGFP marks the Cre-positive starter neurons, while N2cG complements G-deleted rabies virus with high efficiency and low toxicity, confining single-step retrograde spread to the targeted population when used with a TVA helper.
Product Type Adeno-associated virus
Reporter EGFP
Expression Mechanism Cre-dependent
Helper Function AAV helper expressing nuclear EGFP and N2cG under Cre-dependent control
Applications
  1. Co-injection with TVA helper AAV and CVS-N2c-EnvA-ΔG RV for Cre-dependent monosynaptic retrograde tracing with green starter
  2. N2cG for higher transsynaptic efficiency and lower toxicity
  3. H2B-EGFP for nuclear starter cell visualization
  4. DIO restricts to Cre+ populations
  5. Mapping direct presynaptic inputs with reduced toxicity and unambiguous starter identification
