| Description | Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a natural adjuvant synthesized by gram-negative bacteria. LPS and its lipid A moiety can stimulate cells of the innate immune system by the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), a member of the Toll-like receptor protein family, which recognizes common pathogen-associated molecular-patterns (PAMPs). |

A: Lipopolysaccharides from E. coli O111:B4 is obtained through phenol extraction from E. coli serotype O111:B4.
A: Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) from E. coli O111:B4 have been used for macrophage stimulation and have been used in mice for LPS pretreatment.
A: There are three packaging options available: 10mg, 25mg, and 100mg.
A: Lipopolysaccharides from E. coli O111:B4 are soluble in water (5 mg/ml) or cell culture medium (1 mg/ml), producing a cloudy pale-yellow solution.
A: In our lab, we usually purchase the 100mg packaging as this reagent amount is more suitable and relatively cheaper.
