Description Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is a natural adjuvant synthesized by gram-negative bacteria. LPS and its lipid A moiety can stimulate cells of the innate immune system by the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), a member of the Toll-like receptor protein family, which recognizes common pathogen-associated molecular-patterns (PAMPs).

How should it be stored?

A: Upon receipt, store the product at 4°C. After reconstitution, it is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C.

If a turbid solution is obtained when dissolved in water or culture medium, what should be done?

A: If a turbid solution with suspended particles is obtained when dissolved in water or culture medium, it does not affect usage. The turbid solution can be clarified by vortexing and heating at 70-80°C.

Can the product be dissolved in methanol?

A: It is not recommended because dissolving the product in methanol will result in a turbid suspension with suspended particles.
