| Safety Considerations |
The following safety precautions should be observed. 1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum. 2. No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the stable line. 3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab. 4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells. 5. All waste should be considered hazardous. 6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach. |

A: The Human LICAM Stable Cell Line - HEK293T is created by introducing the LICAM gene into HEK293T cells, allowing them to stably express the LICAM protein. This is usually achieved through viral vector-mediated transfection or CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology.
A: This cell line can be used to study the role of LICAM in cell adhesion, signal transduction, and cell migration processes, helping to reveal the molecular mechanisms of cellular behavior.
A: Cell viability and stability can be assessed by detecting LICAM protein expression levels, cell growth curves, and cell cycle analysis.
A: This cell line can be used to screen and evaluate drugs targeting LICAM or its related pathways. By observing changes in LICAM expression or function after drug treatment, the potential efficacy and safety of drugs can be assessed.
A: The cells can be stored in liquid nitrogen to maintain their stability. Before freezing, cells should be suspended in culture medium containing an appropriate concentration of cryoprotectant (such as DMSO) and gradually cooled in a programmable freezer. When thawing, quickly transfer the cells to a 37°C water bath and then add pre-warmed culture medium.
