Description This cell line is engineered to stably overexpress the RFP in Rat (F344) Mesenchymal Stem Cell cells.
Introduction This product is derived from Fischer 344 (F344) rat bone marrow, which is transfected with a lentiviral vector encoding RFP. It maintains the multipotent differentiation ability. Flow cytometry assay shows that these cells are positive for CD44, CD90 (>70%), and negative for CD34, CD11b and CD45 (<5%). it="" is="" a="" good="" cell="" model="" for="" stem="" cell="" studies.="" using="" the="" recommended="" media="" and="" protocol,="" cells="" can="" be="" cultured="" more="" than="" 5="">

Safety Considerations

The following safety precautions should be observed.

1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum.

2. No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the stable line.

3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab.

4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells.

5. All waste should be considered hazardous.

6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach.
