Customer Q&As
What is Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T, and what makes it unique?

A: Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T is a cell line derived from human embryonic kidney cells (HEK293T) that has been genetically modified to stably express Monkey PVRIG (Poliovirus Receptor-Related Immunoglobulin Domain) protein. PVRIG is an immune regulatory protein associated with T-cell activation and immune responses. The uniqueness of this cell line lies in its utility for studying the function of Monkey PVRIG protein, its signaling pathways, and interactions with other immune molecules.

Why was HEK293T cells chosen for stable expression of Monkey PVRIG?

A: HEK293T cells are commonly used due to their high scalability and ease of manipulation, making them suitable for gene expression and protein production research. Choosing HEK293T cells for stable expression of Monkey PVRIG is based on their widespread availability, efficient protein expression capabilities, and suitability for biological research.

What are the culture conditions for Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T?

A: The culture conditions for Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T typically involve the use of high-glucose culture media (such as DMEM) supplemented with appropriate concentrations of antibiotics like penicillin/streptomycin to maintain cell stability. The culture temperature is usually set at 37°C, with a CO2 concentration of 5%, and regular medium changes to support cell growth.

How are Monkey PVRIG expression levels determined in Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T?

A: Monkey PVRIG expression levels in Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T can be determined through various methods, including Western blotting, flow cytometry analysis, and quantitative PCR, among others. These methods can be used to detect the expression levels of Monkey PVRIG protein and quantify it within the cells.

What are the differences between Monkey PVRIG and human PVRIG, and how does Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T help us study these differences?

A: Monkey PVRIG and human PVRIG exhibit differences in their amino acid sequences, which may lead to functional distinctions. Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T can be used to investigate the function and signaling mechanisms of Monkey PVRIG protein in monkey cells, helping us understand the differences between Monkey PVRIG and human PVRIG and their potential impact on the immune system.

How is Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T used for studying immune regulation and T-cell activation?

A: Monkey PVRIG Stable Cell Line - HEK293T can be employed to study the role of Monkey PVRIG protein in T-cell activation and immune regulation. Co-culturing this cell line with other cells or immune molecules allows the assessment of Monkey PVRIG's involvement in immune responses, thereby facilitating in-depth exploration of its immune regulatory mechanisms.
