A: Cy5, also known as cyanine 5, is a fluorescent dye that emits a far-red fluorescence when excited by light of an appropriate wavelength.
A: Like other cyanine dyes, Cy5 is commonly used as a fluorescent label in molecular biology research to detect and visualize biomolecules such as DNA, RNA, and proteins. It can be covalently attached to target biomolecules through chemical conjugation, enabling sensitive and specific detection and imaging.
A: Cy3 emits fluorescence in the green-yellow range of the spectrum (about 570-590nm), while Cy5 emits fluorescence in the red range of the spectrum (about 650-670nm).

Great kit. Cy5 is a highly fluorescent dye and Cy5 RNA Labeling Kit allows for the detection of even low abundance RNA transcripts.
Cy5 RNA Labeling Kit can withstand multiple rounds of imaging without losing signal intensity or degrading. I recommend it.
Great buy! The Cy5 RNA labeling kit is compatible with a wide range of RNA samples, including total RNA, mRNA, and other small RNA species.
