| Description | DNA Sample Prep Kit is designed for DNA library construction of fragmented DNA samples for next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms of Illumina. The kit includes all of the enzymes and buffers for end-preparation, adapter ligation and library amplification. DNA Sample Prep Kit can be used for construction of PCR-free libraries from 100 ng of high-quality fragmented genomic DNA, or 10 ng of circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA). |
| Sample Type | Fragmented DNA |
| Features |
• Convenient and fast, the entire protocol can be completed in 2 hours • High quality and reliable performance • High library yield, which can meet variety of experimental needs |
| Storage |
The EDTA TE buffer can be stored at room temperature or 4°C. All other components should be stored at -20°C. |
A: The process involves several steps such as fragmentation of the DNA sample, addition of adapter sequences to the ends of these fragments for amplification and sequencing, and often an enrichment step for selection of the desired fragment size or genomic region. Once the library is prepared, it can be used for sequencing and data analysis.
A: Quantitation methods based on electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, fluorometry, digital PCR, droplet-digital PCR or qPCR are available for NGS library quantitation.
A: The kit is suitable for preparing DNA libraries for next-generation sequencing applications using Illumina sequencers, including genomic DNA-seq, ChIP-seq, MeDIP/hMeDIP-seq, bisulfite-seq, and targeted resequencing.
