SpCas9 mRNA (ARCA capped, 5-Methyl-CTP & ψUTP modified)

For research use only. Not intended for any clinical use.
Cat.No.
PMRN-0305
Description
SpCas9 mRNA expresses the Cas9 protein with two nuclear localization signals (NLS) and a C terminal HA epitope tag that enhance the rate of DNA cleavage and facilitate downstream purification. It can be used with a purified gRNA sequence for genomic DNA target recognition and cleavage in the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing system. Anti-Reverse Cap Analog (ARCA) is a cap analog used during in vitro transcription to generate capped transcripts. ARCA obtains the ability only to insert in the proper orientation which ensures ARCA-capped mRNA with high translation efficacy. Meanwhile, the incorporation of 5-Methyl-CTP and ψUTP can reduce the immunogenicity of the resulting mRNA.
Features
• mRNA synthesized on error free sequence verified plasmid DNA template
• ARCA capping and poly-A tail incorporated
• mRNA modified with 5-Methyl-CTP and ψUTP
• Degrades the DNA template after RNA synthesis with DNase
Storage
Store at or below -70°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Aliquot if necessary using RNase-free equipment, reagents, pipet tips, tubes, and containers.
