Description
The RUNX1 mRNA encodes the human RUNX family transcription factor 1 (RUNX1) protein, the alpha subunit of Core binding factor (CBF). RUNX1 can forms the heterodimeri CBF with CBFB and is thought to be involved in the development of normal hematopoiesis.
