Summary Creative Biogene ensures high-quality adenovirus particles by optimizing and standardizing production protocols and performing stringent quality control (QC). The specific QC experiments performed vary between adenovirus particle lots.
Endotoxin Endotoxins, primarily derived from Gram-negative bacteria, can trigger adverse immune responses. Endotoxin contamination is a significant concern in adenovirus production, especially for applications in animal studies and gene therapy. Creative Biogene utilizes rigorous endotoxin detection methods to monitor the endotoxin level in our produced adenovirus particles to ensure regulatory compliance.
Sterility Creative Biogene ensures that adenovirus products are free of any bacterial, fungal and other microbial contamination.
Ad5 E1 Detection All Creative Biogene adenoviruses are PCR tested to ensure that there are no detectable E1 sequences in the particles, which could be from revertants or external E1 contamination.
RCA Assays Adenovirus products originating at Creative Biogene are guaranteed to have undetectable replication-competent adenovirus (RCA). This quality control measure is important because there is always the possibility of wild-type contamination due to revertants or environmental sources.
PFU Titering All purified adenovirus preparations are tested for infectious titer. Creative Biogene's PFU test takes a few days longer but counts true plaques in HEK cells rather than estimating PFU titers via IHC staining or TCI50 of infected cells.

Customer Reviews

The glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP1R) gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a key role in glucose metabolism and energy homeostasis. GLP1R is primarily expressed in pancreatic beta cells, the central nervous system, and gastrointestinal tissues. Activation of the receptor by its endogenous ligand, glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), triggers an intracellular signaling cascade that enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion, inhibits glucagon release, and promotes satiety. These mechanisms make GLP1R a key therapeutic target for type 2 diabetes and obesity. In addition, GLP1R signaling has been associated with neuroprotection, cardiovascular health, and appetite regulation. Studying the structure, function, and downstream pathways of GLP1R is critical for developing novel therapeutics for metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases.

Human GLP1R adenoviral particles are genetically engineered viral vectors designed to deliver the human GLP1R gene to target cells or tissues for functional studies. Adenoviruses are ideal for gene delivery due to their high transduction efficiency, ability to infect both dividing and non-dividing cells, and ability to achieve stable transgene expression. These particles are replication-defective, ensuring safety in laboratory settings while maintaining high gene transfer efficiency. Human GLP1R adenoviral particles have been used by researchers to overexpress GLP1R in vitro or in vivo to study receptor signaling, ligand interactions, and downstream metabolic effects. Applications include screening for potential GLP1R agonists or antagonists, studying receptor trafficking, and modeling diseases such as diabetes.
