Revival Rapidly thaw cells in a 37°C water bath. Transfer contents into a tube containing pre-warmed media. Centrifuge cells and seed into a 25 cm2 flask containing pre-warmed media.

Safety Considerations

The following safety precautions should be observed.

LA795 mouse lung adenocarcinoma cells are a cell line established in May 1979 from a spontaneous papillary lung adenocarcinoma in T739 inbred mice. LA795 cells begin to grow 24 hours after inoculation, with the first passage taking approximately 45 days. They exhibit an epithelial-like, round morphology and primarily grow adherently. Subcutaneous transplantation experiments of LA795 cells in T739, 615, and Km mice showed a 100% metastasis rate in the lungs of T739 mice. LA795 cells exhibit stable growth characteristics in vitro and retain key features of lung adenocarcinoma, making them a valuable tool for preclinical research.
