Cat. No. CSC-RO02625
Description This is a stable cell line that is engineered to constitutively express mouse FMS-like tyrosine kinase 4 (Flt4) in HEK293 cells. The expression of mouse Flt4 in this cell line has been validated by real-time qPCR and flow cytometry analysis. This cell line is a valuable cell model for investigating mouse FLT4 functions and binding assays.
Product Type Mouse gene overexpression stable cell line

Safety Considerations The following safety precautions should be observed.
1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum.
2. No eating, drinking or smoking while handling the stable line.
3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab.
4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells.
5. All waste should be considered hazardous.
6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach.

Target Gene FLT4
Background This gene encodes a tyrosine kinase receptor for vascular endothelial growth factors C and D. The protein is thought to be involved in lymphangiogenesis and maintenance of the lymphatic endothelium. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary lymphedema type IA. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
