Human TGFBR3 mRNA

For research use only. Not intended for any clinical use.
Cat.No.
PMRN-0253
Description
The TGFBR3 mRNA encodes the human transforming growth factor beta receptor 3 (TGFBR3) protein, a transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta type III receptor. TGFBR3 is a membrane proteoglycan that often functions as a co-receptor with other TGF-beta receptor superfamily members. Ectodomain shedding produces soluble TGFBR3, which may inhibit TGFB signaling. Decreased expression of this receptor has been observed in various cancers.
Alias
BGCAN, betaglycan

Q & A

Customer Reviews

Customer Q&As
Which protein does the Human TGFBR3 gene encode, and what functions do they all have?

A: TGFBR3 mRNA encodes human transforming growth factor-β receptor 3 (TGF-Br3) protein, which usually acts as a co-receptor together with other members of TGF-β receptor superfamily.

What is the role of Human TGFBR3 gene in the treatment of human cancer?

A: Many cancers, such as nonsyndromic cryptorchidism, have observed a decrease in the expression of this receptor, because this receptor is easy to shed from the outer domain to produce soluble TGFBR3, which may inhibit TGFB signal transduction.

What is the specific relationship between the deletion of TGFBR3 allele and the inheritance of primary human endometrial carcinoma?

A: LOH in Human TGFBR3 locus may be one of the mechanisms leading to the loss of β -sugar expression, so allele imbalance may be an early genetic element in the transformation of human endometrial tumors.
