Description
The CXCR4 mRNA encodes the human C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) protein, a CXC chemokine receptor specific for stromal cell-derived factor-1. CXCR4 acts with the CD4 protein to support HIV entry into cells.
