| Description | The Firefly Luciferase mRNA can express luciferase protein, which has been initially extracted from the Photinus pyralis (Firefly), once it has been transfected into cells. Firefly Luciferase is a commonly used bioluminescent reporter for gene regulation and function study. It is applicable in various assays such as gene expression, cell viability, and in vivo imaging. Anti-Reverse Cap Analog (ARCA) is a cap analog used during in vitro transcription to generate capped transcripts. ARCA obtains the ability only to insert in the proper orientation which ensures ARCA-capped mRNA with high translation efficacy. Meanwhile, the incorporation of 5-Methoxy-UTP can reduce the immunogenicity of the resulting mRNA. |
