Description

The EGFP mRNA can express an enhanced green fluorescence once it has been transfected into cells. This is commonly used as a control to study transfection and expression in mammalian cells using fluorescence-based assays. Anti-Reverse Cap Analog (ARCA) is a cap analog used during in vitro transcription to generate capped transcripts. ARCA obtains the ability only to insert in the proper orientation which ensures ARCA-capped mRNA with high translation efficacy. Meanwhile, the incorporation of 5-Methoxy-UTP can reduce the immunogenicity of the resulting mRNA.
