The Mollusc RNA Kit is designed for the efficient isolation of total RNA from mollusc, arthropod, roundworm, flatworm, and other invertebrate tissue samples rich in mucopolysaccharides. Samples are homogenized and lysed in a high salt buffer containing CTAB, and extracted with chloroform to remove mucopolysaccharides and to denature proteins.

Suitable for downstream applications such as RT-PCR, Poly A+ (mRNA) purification, and hybridization techniques.
