| Description | Universal mRNA-seq Sample Prep Kit is designed for the preparation of transcriptome libraries for next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms of Illumina. The kit includes all of the enzymes and buffers for poly (A) mRNA enrichment and mRNA-seq library construction. Universal mRNA-seq Sample Prep Kit can be used to construct RNA sequencing libraries of eukaryotic samples such as animals, plants, fungi, etc. |
| Sample Type | RNA samples from eukaryotes |
| Features |
• Suitable for RNA samples of eukaryotes such as animals, plants, fungi and so on • Using truncated RNA adapters which exhibit better ligation efficiency and fewer adapter dimmers • High quality and reliable performance • High library yield, which can meet variety of experimental needs |
| Storage |
• Box-1: 2-8 °C; Do NOT freeze the Oligo (dT)25 Capture Beads. • Box-2 & Box-3: -20 °C. |
A: High-quality total RNA can be recovered from any sample type by keeping three simple tips in mind: ensuring the sample is stable after collection, lysing the sample thoroughly and thoroughly, and eliminating any potential DNA contamination.
A: For standard RNA-seq library preparation, you should aim to start with between 100 ng to 1 μg of purified RNA.
A: Total RNA samples can contain up to 90% ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequences, which are not informative for transcriptome or gene expression studies, while mRNA typically only represents 1% to 2% of total RNA. Therefore, it is highly desirable to enrich the mRNA in the sample.
