Gene Information

Cat. No. OE-PNDC000783
Description Human HTR4 nanodisc contains full length human HTR4 protein that is produced from HEK293 cells. Our nanodisc platform employs the mammalian expression system, which ensures that the Human HTR4 protein closely resembles its native counterpart in terms of structure, function, and post-translational modifications, while maintaining exceptional solubility and stability. This nanodisc is an optimal tool for investigating the Human HTR4 membrane protein.
Gene Abbr HTR4
Gene Name HTR4
Species Human
Gene Species Human
Tag C-Flag tag and Strep Tag
Features 1) Full-length membrane protein
2) Utilizing a mammalian expression system to ensure that the protein closely resembles its native counterpart in terms of structure, function, and post-translational modifications
3) Maintaining the native spatial conformation and activity of the membrane protein
4) Possessing high solubility and stability
5) High purity determined by HPLC
6) No detergents need to be added in subsequent experiments, and it can be directly applied to cytological analysis
Applications 1) Studying protein structure and function: Understanding the structure and activity of membrane proteins in a native-like environment.
2) Studying protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions: Analyzing how membrane proteins interact with other molecules, such as antibodies or other proteins.
3) Drug discovery: Identifying and characterizing potential drug candidates that target membrane proteins.
4) Developing antibodies: Screening and characterizing antibodies that bind to membrane proteins.
Format Lyophilized protein
Expression System Mammalian expression system
Note For Research Use Only.
Storage Store at -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within one month, aliquot and store at -80°C. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
Shipping Lyophilized proteins are shipped under ambient temperature conditions.
Target Gene HTR4
Background This gene is a member of the family of serotonin receptors, which are G protein coupled receptors that stimulate cAMP production in response to serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine). The gene product is a glycosylated transmembrane protein that functions in both the peripheral and central nervous system to modulate the release of various neurotransmitters. Multiple transcript variants encoding proteins with distinct C-terminal sequences have been described. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
