Description

Cas14a is a nuclease guided by tracrRNA:crRNA (or sgRNA) that specifically binds and cleaves target ssDNA without requiring a PAM site. Like Cas12a, Cas14a binds the target nucleic acid and activates ssDNA trans-cleavage, enabling molecular detection.
