A: The replicase lines of replicative plasmids share with chromosomal DNA replication and can only be replicated at a certain stage of the cell cycle. When the cell chromosome stops replication, the plasmid will no longer replicate. The replicase line of the relaxed control replicative type is unaffected by the chromosomal DNA replicase line, can replicate at any time throughout the cell growth cycle, and the plasmid can continue when chromosomal replication has ceased.
