Description

HEK293-VEGF Assay Cells are provided as ready-to-assay (RTA) cells which does not need culturing. They are engineered to express firefly luciferase gene under the control of VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) responsive promoter, and renilla luciferase gene driven by a constitutive promoter. These cells can be used for detecting VEGF, VEGF inhibitors and neutralizing antibodies against VEGF.

Growth Properties

Cells are cultured as a monolayer at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere with 5% CO₂. Split at 80-90% confluence, approximately 1:3-1:6.
