Description

HEK293-FGF21 Assay Cells are provided as ready-to-assay (RTA) cells which does not need culturing. They are engineered to express firefly luciferase gene under the control of human FGF21 responsive promoter, and renilla luciferase gene driven by a constitutive promoter. These cells can be used for detecting human FGF21, analogues of human FGF21, and neutralizing antibodies against FGF21.

Growth Properties

Cells are cultured as a monolayer at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere with 5% CO₂. Split at 80-90% confluence, approximately 1:3-1:6.
