Gel purification of DNA is a common technique used for the isolation of specific DNA fragments from reaction mixtures. However, most methods either fail to completely remove agarose (which can lead to problems in downstream manipulations), shear the DNA, or results in very low yields. The Gel Kit uses Binding DNA spin-column technology to recover DNA from all grades of agarose gel with yields up to 85%. This kit can be also used to purify DNA fragments from PCR products and enzymatic reactions.

Ready for downstream applications such as ligations, PCR amplification, restriction enzyme digestion and various labeling reactions.
