Microtubule-associated protein RP/EB family member 1 (MAPRE1) is a crucial component of the human biological framework, playing a key regulatory role under various physiological and pathological conditions. Also known as EB1, this protein belongs to the microtubule tip-tracking protein (+TIPs) family. It regulates microtubule dynamics, essential for the proper orientation of the spindle and chromosome segregation during cell division. MAPRE1 interacts with various proteins at the microtubule tips, including adenomatous polyposis protein (APC) and p150glued, thereby coordinating cell polarity and directional cell movement. At the molecular level, MAPRE1 participates in complex signaling pathways and functions as a cell surface receptor. Its precise regulation is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis, metabolic flux, and the accurate interpretation of environmental signals.

The human MAPRE1 stable cell line HEK293T is a high-fidelity cell model designed to provide a stable and scalable platform for cutting-edge biomedical research and drug discovery. By stably integrating the human MAPRET1 transgene into the host genome, this product ensures consistent and uniform expression levels, overcoming the inherent limitations of transient transfection, such as batch-to-batch variability and transfection-induced cellular stress. This phenotypic stability is crucial for executing rigorous long-term experimental protocols and establishing reproducible bioassays that meet the stringent requirements of drug development. The stable human MAPRET1 cell line HEK293T is an ideal tool for high-throughput screening of various chemical and biological libraries, enabling the identification of novel regulators of MAPRET1 function. In addition to screening, this cell line supports a variety of functional assays, including signal transduction mapping analysis, ligand binding kinetics studies, and phenotypic analyses such as cell viability, migration, and apoptosis.

Invaluable tool

I highly recommend this MAPRE1 cell line. We needed a reliable model to study microtubule-associated proteins, and this product delivered exactly what was promised. Cell viability was high upon arrival, and our Western blots confirmed strong, stable EB1/MAPRE1 expression. Great technical support from the Creative Biogene team as well.
