Human CSF2 Stable Cell Line - HuH-7

The CSF2 gene, also known as GM-CSF, encodes a potent cytokine that regulates the generation and function of granulocytes and macrophages. CSF2 binds to its high-affinity receptor CSF2R, activating the JAK2-STAT5 signaling pathway and promoting myeloid cell survival. Clinically, CSF2 has been used to accelerate the recovery of myeloid cells after chemotherapy. However, in the tumor microenvironment, aberrant CSF2 expression can promote the recruitment of immunosuppressive myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). CSF2 gene mutations or autoantibodies are associated with pulmonary alveolar proteinosis.

The HuH-7 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line stably expressing CSF2 provides a dedicated model for studying cytokines in the hepatocellular carcinoma immune microenvironment. HuH-7 is a mature human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line with a well-differentiated phenotype. This cell line, through stable expression of human CSF2, continuously provides bioactive GM-CSF in the liver environment. This product is of significant value for co-culture experiments, enabling the study of interactions between tumor-derived cytokines and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), as well as the development of novel cancer vaccines adjuvanted with GM-CSF.
