Description ASPC-1-GFP/Luc cell line is engineered to co-express GFP and luciferase reporter genes in ASPC-1 cells. Revival Rapidly thaw cells in a 37°C water bath. Transfer contents into a tube containing pre-warmed media. Centrifuge cells and seed into a 25 cm2 flask containing pre-warmed media.

Safety Considerations The following safety precautions should be observed.
1. Use pipette aids to prevent ingestion and keep aerosols down to a minimum.

3. Wash hands after handling the stable line and before leaving the lab.
4. Decontaminate work surface with disinfectant or 70% ethanol before and after working with stable cells.
5. All waste should be considered hazardous.
6. Dispose of all liquid waste after each experiment and treat with bleach.

ASPC-1 is a human pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell line established from ascites fluid obtained from a patient with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The cell line is characterized by aggressive growth behavior and metastatic potential, making it one of the most widely used models for studying pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). ASPC-1 cells harbor genetic alterations commonly observed in pancreatic cancer and have been extensively utilized in investigations of tumor progression, invasion, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance. The GFP/Luc Reporter Cell Line - ASPC-1 is generated through stable integration of green fluorescent protein (GFP) and firefly luciferase (Luc) reporter genes into the parental ASPC-1 cells. This dual-reporter system enables real-time fluorescence visualization and highly sensitive bioluminescence imaging while preserving the biological characteristics and tumorigenic properties of the original cell line.

The ASPC-1-GFP/Luc reporter cell line is widely employed in pancreatic cancer research for both in vitro functional studies and in vivo tumor modeling. Great Performance

This is our second time ordering the ASPC-1 GFP/Luc line from Creative Biogene. It is a phenomenal tool for our pancreatic metastasis studies. The reporter genes show no signs of silencing even after prolonged periods in vivo without selection pressure. It has significantly accelerated our preclinical drug screening pipeline.
