| Description | The Kinetic Turbidimetric LAL Endotoxin Assay Kit is a commonly used reagent kit for the quantitative detection of bacterial endotoxin (also known as lipopolysaccharide, LPS). It is based on the principle of gel formation through an enzymatic coagulation reaction using Limulus amoebocyte lysate (LAL) reagent, which increases the turbidity (absorbance) of the reaction solution. This kit offers ultra-high sensitivity, high stability, and a wider detection range. The lower detection limit can be as low as 0.01 EU/ml, and the upper limit can be as high as 10 EU/ml, significantly expanding the detection capability for high concentrations. Furthermore, it can detect trace samples, with sample volumes as small as 50 microliters or even less. |
