The Plant RNA prep Kit provides a convenient and rapid method for the isolation of total RNA from a variety of plant samples. These kits are designed for preparation of RNA from large-scale plant samples and include shredding/homogenizing columns to efficiently remove cell debris and simultaneously homogenize the lysate. In combination with Binding RNA spin columns, this permits purification of high-quality RNA from as much as 500 mg plant tissue in less than 60 minutes. Purified RNA is suitable for RT-PCR, Northern Analysis, differential display, and Poly A+ RNA selection.
