PFU Titering All purified adenovirus preparations are tested for infectious titer. Creative Biogene's PFU test takes a few days longer but counts true plaques in HEK cells rather than estimating PFU titers via IHC staining or TCI50 of infected cells.

The NEUROG1 (neurogenin 1) gene encodes a key transcription factor belonging to the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family that plays a critical role in the differentiation and development of neurons. NEUROG1 is primarily expressed in the nervous system and is essential for the differentiation of sensory neurons, including dorsal root ganglia and cerebral ganglia, during embryogenesis. It drives the differentiation of progenitor cells toward the neuronal lineage by activating downstream targets, while inhibiting the differentiation of glial cells. Dysregulation of NEUROG1 has been associated with neurological diseases and impaired neurogenesis.
