Gene Information

Cat. No. SKO0300
Description Creative Biogene develops and optimizes genome editing technology to produce stable genome edited mammalian cell lines serving a wide-range of R&D activities in areas of basic research, diagnostic and therapeutic development. Our premade SuperKO sgRNA vectors are tailor-made to target many different genes respectively. We have successfully constructed a series of knockout cell lines using those sgRNAs.
Gene Abbr AMPD2
Reporter mCherry
Promoter U6
Resistance Amp
Selection Ampicillin
Vector Type Lentiviral Expression
Vector Length 7677 bp
Target Gene AMPD2
Background The protein encoded by this gene is important in purine metabolism by converting AMP to IMP. The encoded protein, which acts as a homotetramer, is one of three AMP deaminases found in mammals. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
