A: You can test for VZV/HSV2/HSV1 in genital, non-genital, anal/rectal and oral swabs.
A: Improper sample preparation, incorrect reagent configuration, improper experimental design, and failure to follow the proper procedure of the kit may yield undesirable results, and the possible causes need to be investigated.
If your question is not addressed through these resources, you can fill out the online form below and we will answer your question as soon as possible.
The kit is a ready-to-use molecular assay kit that measures viral load of VZV/HSV2/HSV1 in one tube using real-time PCR after viral DNA extraction, providing both cost and time savings without the need for dedicated molecular space and capital equipment, allowing testing in smaller laboratories.
The VZV/HSV2/HSV1 Multiplex Real Time PCR Kit is easy to use. Simply add the extracted DNA sample to the ready-to-use PCR premix and follow the optimized cycling procedure described in the "Instructions for Use" to start the reaction on the appropriate Real Time Fluorescence PCR The reaction is then started on an appropriate Real Time Fluorescence PCR Thermocycler according to the optimized cycling procedure described in the Instructions for Use.
