| Description | The Tissue Ultrapure DNA 96 Kit is designed for rapid, high throughput DNA isolation from fresh or frozen animal tissues, cells and rodent tails. Fresh or frozen tissue samples are homogenized by bead beating in a deep well plate containing beads, bead solution and lysis solution. These plates are processed on a high velocity 96 Well Plate Shaker. This hands-off homogenization is optimized for even the toughest tissues including rodent tails. Cells are lysed and DNA is bound to a silica membrane spin filter plate. This efficient procedure and convenient 96 well format eliminate the need for organic extraction, labeling of individual tubes, one-at-a-time pipetting, and DNA resuspension so that downstream appplications such as PCR can be completed on the same day. |
